Beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing! Like everyone else, I can't wait to see it in person.

Just got down to The World to check out the new Fantasyland Station--it is FAR BETTER than I had even imagined it. The theming is just incredible. Take a look at the station and some of the luggage that's there.

Going back to the early Disney animation for theming details gives Disney fans something to think about. I guess the three pigs won't be visiting Fantasyland Station any time soon! (Wow, just a few steps away, they've already started work on Snow White's new mine roller coaster. Just amazing how a film that's 75 years old is still so appealing that they're Imagineering new attractions around it.)

If you look closely at the water troughs/buckets, you can see that Dumbo's in town. All of this is near the exit for Fantasyland Station platform, and really helps to foreshadow the new Dumbo ride which is just a few steps away.

I just noticed that the amazing Jack Spence posted some pics of the new station on his blog at http://land.allears.net/blogs/jackspence/2012/04/ His blogs are chock full of detail, very completely researched, and always worth checking out!

Great photos, ckodani! And thanks for the link to the blog, too. Looks like they have loaded that area with cool details.

Just curious: do you think that Choo Choo Soul and Casey Jr. are related? Choo Choo Soul is a relatively new Disney character (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwqrKBry-WE for a nice Youtube video), that's clearly different from Casey Jr., but they seem to share a lot of the same DNA. Both are animated Disney engines (of course both appear to be narrow gauge), are quite musical, and are in the business of hauling zoo/circus animals. Casey is musically of a much earlier period, and chugs along to a swing riff, whereas Choo Choo Soul is definitely of a hip hop vintage. Is it possible that Choo Choo is...Casey Jr.'s son?

I was going to point out that Casey Jr.'s tender is right where it should be, but then I figured out you must be talking about that other train mentioned above.
