The WDWRR has never closed a single day since Oct. 1, 1971, it can't be!

I am sure one of the cast members can tell us what is up... It may not be the RR at all, but something where the tracks will be blocked for a few days.

That's my site. Touring Plans picked up on it and was speculating that the reason for it is probably a way to provide access to Space Mountain for heavy equipment or whatnot

Space Mountain sits outside the rail line. Unless...they are bringing in equipment to work on the cue line and arcade.

all I can confirm from personal knowledge in regards to that is that the arcade is in fact expected to be closed for the duration of the space mountain refurb (currently through 11/21) and that the TTA also closed with space (but will re-open aug 25 currently)

Pure speculation, maybe they are building a tunnel so the train riders are protected from poential falling debris.

It has nothing to do with Space Mountain. The Adventureland crossing needs some love and care. It is not determined if it will be a closure, or just a modified route. I'm sure we will just run from Main Street to Toontown.

I remember when they push/pulled from Toontown to Main Street when they built Splash Mountain. I thought it was strange to see the train back out of Main Street as we came through the entrance plaza. Found out why when we rode the train when it came back.
