Hey all you WDWRR crew guys and gals...

Has there been any word on a "rededication" ceremony for Lilly when she gets back? That was the train I learned on; she was and always has been my favorite locomotive

I miss being on the trains...

A rededication of Lilly would be awesome, and appropriate. I think it's likely too; Walter was rededicated in 1999, and Roy and Roger in 2002 and 2003.

Keep us posted on when the ceremony is. I'd like to fly down and see it. Are the rededication ceremonies open to the public?

Well try and do it soon! I am out here for only two weeks! From now till 1/22/11.

Sorry for being the one to burst your bubble, but you're about a year early for the Lilly redidcation, if there will even be one.

The engine left about 60 days ago for refurb. I doubt she'll be back on property any time soon.

Yep, she will probably be gone as long as the Marsh. The Marsh is not due back till 2012!!

Well...I guess I won't be seeing the Marsh on my visit in February...and she is one of my favorites at Disneyland!

The Lilly Belle should be back by July of this year. And I have heard through the grape vine that there will be no rededication. Lets keep our fingers crossed that they plan something.

Sorry Beacon. Just did the magic behind the steam tour yesterday. No one knew the schedule of Lilly's return. The only back up engine is the Roger unless park attendance swells requiring 3 engines to move guests. With only 2 stations though a 3rd train would only conjest the line imho.
