I don't believe Tweetsie is involved.

Dang it! I was hoping to see Lilly during the tour of the Tweetsie during the narrow gauge convention.

I wanted to let you all know that I am a member of another website and posted the question on the whereabouts of the Lilly... It wasn't confirmed by a railroad offical but someone did say that it is at the Strasburg Railroad. I would imagine very well hidden.

There're only so many places to hide a locomotive at Strasburg. Pay the dime, take the noon shop tour and most likely you'll see it. Anybody want to voluteer to make a visit and report back to us?

I was there in November and took the shop tour. No Lilly Belle was found. Believe me, I was searching. I even asked about it and they denied any work with Disney. She's well hidden somewhere at Strasburg.

I was also there in November and took the shop tour (the same day that CC4455 was on the tour if I remember correctly) and can confirm that Lilly is completely hidden. The only place she could be is in the bay on the right side of the restoration shop, which is the only part of the shop that they do not take the tour through.

Also, I recently heard from a source (not sure how reliable) that they have completed work on the tender. He also said that when the Lilly Belle arrived, they were instructed not to tell anyone about it and to tell anyone who asked if she was there that they were not working on the locomotive. That explains why when I asked, the shop tour guide so quickly said that Lilly wasn't there and went on to say that Strasburg has never done any work for Disney and that the whole thing was just a rumor that started on the internet.

I'd love to know what Disney's reasoning is for all the secrecy about their parks. It's a steam locomotive. It's not a military vehicle!

Shoot, I worked for defense contractors on projects that we kept somewhat hush-hush because we didn't want the bad guys to know about them. We were NEVER as fanatical about it as Disney is when it comes to their parks however.

It's quite unintentionally hilarous when I think about it.

Disney, you're an *entertainment* company. What you do, while very much appreciated around the world, is not *THAT* important in the grand scheme of things. You're not making fighter jets or cruise missles to defend this country. Talk about inflated egos. :D

Locoboy...I couldn't agree with you more! That being said, some Disney fans are quite...well, crazy. So, I guess in some ways, I understand why all the secrecy.

Any word on a date for Lilly's return to Florida? I haven't gotten to make it over to Strasburg yet :(
