Anyone been to the Animation store in Epcot. There is a Cel of Donald sitting on Walt's Lilly Belle or it is a cel from Out of Scale cartoon. Anyone seen it or know how much it is and if it is a new item from the railroad collection? My dad saw it, but no one could tell him the price.

I wonder if this might be what he saw:

DONALD DUCK LE Cel Art TRAIN GANG Chip & Dale DISNEY

It obviously isn't from Out of Scale, but the description says it was inspired by that short. Looks like it was a limited edition of 500.

Steve,

That was my guess, too. I have that hanging on my wall and my dad said no. It looked like the Duck on a Train pin from Carolwood. He said the train is Walt's Lilly Belle and you could read LILLY BELLE on the cab.

I'm going on Sunday for the Mickey Dolenz Flower Power concert. I'll see if I can find it and get a photo of it, and price and availability, as well.

I checked out the stores at MK and EPCOT, and they don't have anything with Donald. Both stores sell the Alex Maher "Walt's Miniature Backyard Railrod", with Mickey riding Lilly Belle as seen here:

Sorry I couldn't give you better news.

Thanks Wayne. The clerk i talked to said it may have been a painter not associated with the rr collection and a one of a kind. Or my dad is really coocoo and mistook Mickey for Donald.

Your dad said you could read "Lilly Belle." Might it have been animation on a photograph, such as the shot of Walt and Pluto riding the cars behind Lilly Belle?

He looked at my sericel collection and said it looked just like the others. I do have train gang hanging with chip and dale from the Carolwood collection. My dad said it definately was not that one. Lilly Belle was drawn very nicely he said and you could see the name on the cab clearly. He definately knows what each of the Park engines looks like and he knows Walt's engine. I showed him the Mickey one and he said the barn is not in the background. Doanld is wearing an engineer hat and gloves and holding an oil can. Donald has on his normal sailor suit but is wearing a red handkerchief around his neck instead of his tie. The background is a G scale town. So it leads me to believe it was from out of scale and possiblly from the animation studio collection. Or someone dabbled in sericel and it is a one of a kind. Either way I would love one, I love Out Of Scale and Donald's Toy Boat.

Well I found some new info on this. There is a presale on WDCC Out of Scale sculpture by David Pacheco. The print my dad saw may have been an advertisement for the release scheduled for this month.
