There's a new train in the roundhouse. This poor little fella has been around the block too... built in 1927... it was used at Kentucky coal mines. In 1980 it moved to Marriott's Great America (now owned by Cedar Fair),
Shoot, that little fella has been around the block? What about me! I went from Southern California, to Florida, to Northern Ohio, and now maybe back to Southern California to track down that locomotive!
Actually that Davenport Forney went to Marriott's Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, not the similar park in Santa Clara, California. The Great America in Gurnee is now owned by Six Flags which was bought by Premier Parks. The Great America in Santa Clara is the one now owned by Cedar Fair, which bought out Paramount Parks.
So, I wonder what the CP&LERR is going to do with all that new found space in their roundhouse.
