UPDATE: Disneyland decided to release the Holliday early. It's in stores now. This includes the Disney Gallery, the Disneyana shop and World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Thank you! Are the engine and tender bodies die cast, like their Porter mogul?

What happened to it? Was the one on display in the Disney Gallery just a one off prototype for display only (like the Retlaw 1 combine car that the Hartland DRR #5 was pulling) or was it intended for retail sale eventually?
