I kept delaying the purchase of Steve's book but it looks like I just scored one of the last copies from Amazon. Carolwood Society informed me that Amazon had the last few. They are listing 4 more left as of today, 12-3-10. Might be the last chance at least for a new one!

Congratulations, Steve. This is a big milestone. I love your book and can't wait for the second edition. Can we get a big discount if we pre-order? :D

BTW, Amazon must have received your last shipment to them as they now have only 7 books left. This is your last chance to get a back-up copy, Burnslanders!

I have been away from this board for awhile and missed Steve's original post here. Better late than never I guess.
I would like to congratulate Steve on this milestone and also thank him for the fantastic opportunity to be involved with this book. My years with Disneyland and Retlaw are always cherished memories. Sometimes when I'm fighting the day to day here I wish I were back at the Park on the train or the Monorails. Although it has changed alot from when I worked there. Truly, being involved with your book, Steve, is one of the highlights of my life as well as Michael Campbell getting me involved with the Disney Family Museum.
I hope future (and past) readers of your book have enjoyed the stories of bygone Retlaw days at the Park. Nice to know that some of the stories are in there forever!!
Anyway, Thank you Steve!
Stay tuned~ Working on a brief return to the Park

Steve,

I just wanted you to know I was at California Railroad Museum in Sacramento yesterday and book store only has two copies of your book left. Congratulations.

Did not even think about that. We were up there at the Sac Museum and I saw the book by Broggie's book. It did not occur to me that those were the last editions available. If anyone wants a copy of the book, call the museum and have it shipped.

I think it adds an amount of weight to the DRR an WDWRR to have books about them featured in the museum dedicated to railroading history. Just my 2cents.

Steve, will you be re-releasing it in an e-book format?

That's the second time that has been asked around here lately. Just a few more times and we will have an official "clamoring". :D
