Did Disney have any other pin or badge with the same SF&D cross and circle as used on the engineer badge?

All the SF&D Conductor badges...

Assuming the SF&D emblem is the same size, that solves the mystery for me. Thanks.

"Mystery" continues - the emblems are nowhere near the same size--just the same design.

I think your supposition about the SF&DLRR badges being made by the Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company (it's proper name, btw) is correct.

thanks for the correction, Benson!

I just wanted to add my praise for these badges - they turned out great! It looks great in the picture, but even better in person. Very well done!

Just a note:
If you are sending me an inquiry regarding the badges, it is better to PM me via this site than to actually email me as your email might go unseen in my Junk Mail File. Someone emailed me yesterday or last night and the email got trashed accidentally. Not sure if it was somenone from here or MiceChat.
Thank you!

Why the dash instead of an ampersand, in the RR name around the outside?

Roy, when either of us locates the badge's designer--assuming he's still alive--you can ask him.
