On one of the YouTube videos I recently uploaded, while onboard Holiday 5 Blue behind the Ward Kimball, the spiel was off. What could have possibly caused this to happen. The spiel corrected itself leaving Tomorrowland station.

Go to 9:18 if you want skip the rest

Just a glitch. The spiel is triggered through makers along the route, probably just a misfire. When the trains do their dead-head to the roundhouse at the end of the night, it's fun to hear the spiel skip over itself when going full-speed through Toon Town.

I know in Steve's book as well as you mentioning it here, I have never seen a train deadhead before. When ever I have seen a train taken offline, the conductor tells everyone that the last stop is Toontown and then they drop everyone off there and proceed to the roundhouse. I have seen this numerous times with pretty much all the engines but never a deadhead.

The only time a train will deadhead is at the end of the night. The "sweeper train", last one on the route, will depart Main Street at midnight and will pick up passengers at each station (no drop-offs). When the train returns the Main Street and drops everyone on the train off, it will do a non-stop run to the roundhouse. You have to be working there to see that. ;)

Well hopefully I do work for the DRR one day  I guess you could also see the deadhead if you were still in line for like Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, or Small World but they usually don't have long lines at night. Also shopping on Main Street after hours you could see it depart MSS.
