I agree about the Engine 5 model, but since when was Hartland Locomotive Works *ever* known for scale realism? The second that name is on a product, that expectation automatically goes out the window in my opinion.

Well, it might make a good starting point for a modeler to make modifications. For instance, the tender is nicely done, as is the cab. There are some details like the number plate that can be used. With a little tweaking here and there, you could probably get a better model, without having to custom paint and letter. I mean, just swaping the sand dome with the bell would make the piece look far better.

It's just a simple fact that there aren't too many large-scale Forney models, let alone Forney models based on that particular Baldwin narrow gauge design.

For those of you who can't get to the Park, you can call Disneyland DelivEars at 877-560-6477 to order merchandise from the exhibit. They're open from 9AM to 8 PM EST.

The items that are shown on the site are just what is available the first day of the exhibit. There are other items that are planned to arrive during the show's run. I'll try to post announcements of these here (but in all likelihood someone will post it before I have a chance!)

Also, about those Kimball comments: the photo on the web site is of the prototype. The production model may have a few changes to it. (But I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure exactly what changed.)

I was just going to echo Michael on the wait and see. I am sure Hartland figured out with a pointer from someone that the bell and sand dome were swtiched. If not, take it apart like the LGB Fred and do it yourself. We've been down this road before about what you can afford vs 99.99% accurate. I don't seem to remember anyone busting down the doors to get the Electric Accucraft Lilly Belle which is darn near exact, when the first 173 of them were offered. The retail was $2200. Anyone got that laying around? I had to goto Iraq and get tax free war zone money to pay for mine.

Hartland makes a good running product and I have never had issues with Marsh which is almost 10 years old now. It still runs like new and Hartland is very gracious with product support for the 2 issues I did have. I am very happy that Ward made it to the shelves and gives me hope there will be a CK and EP run before 2020. Thank you, Michael for you endeavors to bring DRR and WDRR to the spotlight with products.

The items are awesome! Can these only be purchased at Disneyland? And when can we call and order some of these items? The Kimball looks great and I'm also a fan of some of the art prints.

Read CP173 post above, a phone number for ordering the items from as far away as can ship them.
