When I was the a couple of weeks ago, the clerk in the gallery told me that the train exhibit was coming down June 15th. Maybe he was confusing the date with the opening of Carsland.

It was such a fantastic exhibit. I hope most of the items will continue to be sold. I couldn't afford to buy everything I wanted, so was planning a special saving account for the gallery goodies, lol.

The guy said the next exhibit in will be about the Disney castles.

If you haven't seen what they are selling, my suggestion is get down there, or call Disney delivears and get some of the unique railroad items that may never be offered again.

The last day of the "Grand Circle Tour" exhibit is June 27. I know because we have to remove the artifacts on June 28.

I believe that some of the merchandise will continue to be available after the exhibit closes. The Park hopes to be able to offer DLRR-related items on a continuing basis.

Ooooh, that definitely sounds interesting! :)

I hope that the exhibit will have some information on the latest castle at Shanghai Disneyland. That one, based on the few concept sketches that I've seen, looks fantastic.

The Disney Parks Blog does have a post about the Disney Castles exhibit in the Disney Gallery:

Crowning Achievements – Creating Castles for Magical Kingdoms at Disneyland Park

It also says that the exhibit opens June 30, so CP173 has to work quick to get the railroad artifacts out of there on the 28th! :)

The N-scale Holliday will be available starting July 27 and retails for $135. The Retlaw 2 freight train set (gondola, cattle car and caboose) is also available starting the same day for $130. Both will be found at several locations around Disneyland and Walt Disney World starting July 27.

You can also order them after July 27 via Disney Merchandise Guest Services at 1-877-560-6477 or disneysmerchandiseservices@disney.go.com

Do you think they'll sell out within a few hours like the Ward Kimball? I suppose it depends on how many are sold to be posted on eBay for profit, huh?

It's not limited edition, but the Park didn't order a lot of them. I wouldn't drag my feet if I wanted to purchase one.

Unless you like paying the eBay markup.
