No locomotive? That was my first guess, but I can still see the top edge of the tender and the lettering just above that bank. The main bulk of the Ripley is behind that Richfield sign.

No, it was the locomotive. Sam's eyes are much better than mine.

I couldn't figure out why they would have left Retlaw 1 stranded on the line. Now it makes sense: they didn't! :oops:

I just barely spotted the tender (the yellow lettering kinda sticks out to me). My other guess would have been the viewliner or monorail.

Oh I thought it was that there was no engine but I was thinking it was more because of the dirt landscape that was in the photo was the answer
