"Dude, I am telling you that is a trash can, not a fast pass machine!"

Oh sorry, thought this was a caption contest! :P

Cool photo! It makes mekeep striving to take photos that good...a life-long goal.

I'm not sure about the vapor trail in the sky though. On one hand it is a little distracting to the viewer's eye but on the other hand it is a unique element of the photo that makes it different from the million other DRR Main Street Station photos out there.

I agree. But you can always play with it. Take it out altogether. Put Tinkerbelle at the end of it. Or Pluto, riding a rocket.

Great photo! I'd like to know more about what he used to shoot it, and what he did post-processing.

Looking at the EXIF data, he used a Canon EOS Rebel T2i, 1/256 second exposure at f/4.0, ISO 800, and processed it using Aperture.

Ah, good ole exif data. I stopped trying to look after finding much of it stripped out. I wonder what glass he is using. I need to upgrade my camera, but I can't get the CFO to release the funds for the 5DM2...

He had entered the photo in Flickr's "Canon EF-S 10-22" group, so I'm guessing he used that lens. :)

Ah...probably information I could have found out if I just stuck around Flickr a bit longer :) Thanks Steve!

One of the things that I really do not like about digital cameras is that they have made photographers somewhat "lazy" in that they don't bother as much with good photo composition before pressing the shutter release because they can digitally alter the image later or delete it entirely. I realize that a good photo is a good photo, no matter what medium was used to capture the image, but I'm referring to most of the public today that has never used a film camera before so they take a dozen photos to keep just one. I see them constantly at Disney theme parks snapping away, while others that weren't raised with a digital camera get excellent results, no matter what medium they're using, by just taking one picture.

It's nothing personal, but just one of my beefs about digital cameras and one of the bad habits they've taught today's generation of shutterbugs.
