Hi all.Wanted to share our familes recent trip to the Magic Kingdom ! I returned in September
from a tour working with the Army in Afghanistan. I am civilian contractor working for the army
in the field. Any way on my return I meet up with my wife and eight year old granddaughter headed to the park.Grand California hotel and all the good stuff. While we were there it was my 64th birthday. And thanks to your nice web site I thought we would beg for a tender ride. We were very nice to the train crew members but waited and waited. No rides.Yes the engines with tenders were running. And as we left the Mainstreet Station we watched a pair of very happy young men get off from their tender ride holding hands and giving each other a big sweet kiss.
To each his own and many thanks Disneyland RR.Bill

Bill,

First and foremost thank you. As an Air Force medic I understand the sacrifice you have made to be with us on the front lines in the FOB's, providing drivers for convoys, contract security for our bases and other functions. You guys also liven up our EMEDS with bonifide heart attacks and other aliments we would not otherwise get to see, plus your stories are pretty good. While at Sather in Iraq, I had a group of 30 contractors come in, all from America and all exposed to TB! Awesome stuff to teach my young medics!

So did you actually sit in the seat of the tender or did you just see a tender, and yes i threw up in my mouth a little, moment?

Sometimes that happens, I was denied a ride on the CK Holliday about 2 months ago due to "excessive" heat even though it was 70 something outside.
