I've heard that the colors of the cars at the ride are all representative of specific characters without having the actual look of them. Can anyone confirm if that is correct? I've read that the green car is supposed to represent Sarge, but I don't want to buy one of the die cast toys of it if that isn't the case...

Wow, great shots! They really brought the movie town to life, it's amazing. Oh, I have to see Sarge's place!

P51,

Sarge's store is a gift shop with many many cars toys. It is themed military style. There are ammo canisters, a HUGE American Flag :D , big wooden weapons crates, military gas and water cans. Overall very cool. Sarge also has an American flag flying proudly from a pole outside displayed on a manicured lawn behind a white picket fence. Very NICE!!

I know here is a great video I found on youtube thats in HD thats a POV video of the CARS Land ride.

(I so got to go visit Disneyland again and take a break from WDW) :D

I know this is a not going to happened thing but I image how the Disneyland Trains would had looked like running thru that area (A lot of good possible photo opportunities) But I know it will never happened.

To anyone planning on going to Radiator Springs Racers, be fore warned of technical difficulties. I waited 15 minutes in the Single Rider queue and ended up waiting 5 1/2 hours because a single car on the track had problems. Test Track at EPCOT to the best of my knowledge doesn't have such problems but Racers seems to be breaking down once or twice a day.

The pictures that have been posted are great, but are unable to capture the way that Carsland surrounds you as you walk down the street. To me, it is just as Walt originally intended Disneyland to be, you feel like you are in the movie :D

My wife and I went the week before Christmas and the lines were long (late afternoon wait times of 150 minutes were common) but the ride was pretty reliable. We only heard of it going down once over several days and considering how many people were riding, that's pretty good.
