Any idea how long it'd be smart to wait before going there to avoid larger crowds?

No idea. Radiator Springs Racers is going to be popular for a while, much like Toy Story Midway Mania, but thankfully with fastpass!

Here is the link to the photos I uploaded of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. I'd post them inline, but there is a little over 200 pics in the gallery.

Nice collection of photos! Thanks for the link. Lots of neat detail in the new 'land'.

WOW, great shots! I can't get over how faithful re-creation of the film town this is. I wanna go SO bad!
At least I managed to score a Sarge's surplus pin off ePay last night, though...

I will add that eating at Flo's overlooking the range at night is one of the most picturesque views in either DL or DCA.

A coworker was there last week and it was a 7 hour wait to get into DCA. Who'd ever think?!

Do you know which day? We were there the day it opened and again Saturday with no wait that long to get in.

I plan on getting some night shots when we take our official vacation, that was one thing that we missed with our 8am-12pm time.

Ray, how was dinner at Flo's? We had a small breakfast (shared the Brioche French Toast) and some treats from the Cozy Cone Motel. We were going to eat there again, but opted to check out the offerings at the Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe.

Sunday was a non blockout day for all annual passes thus the crowds.

Food was better than average food for the parks, I actually enjoyed the food there better than Blue Bayou (only went because another party wanted to.)

Never left just went silent, I have had a fair amount of travel (for a farmer) added to my schedule in the last few years combined with trying to keep up on kids activities and work I just went stealth.
