ok everybody this is a survey of your favorite disney railroad. the rules are: it must be a disney railroad past or present( mine trains, ftwrr, veiwliners, horse drawn sttreet cars, casey junior, and monorails also count), And you also have to list the reason why it is your favorite. It cannot be just because you think it is.

I'll start. my favorite would have to be the Drr because it is th original, has the most varied history, was once sponsored by a real railroad, and is the only one to have five locomotives and more than one type of train set. i also live out in california so am biased torward it. The wdwrr is second followed by the the DLR monorail and the veiwliners

The DRR because it was what made me into a life-long train buff ever since my first ride on it when I was six months old.

Oh and also because I think it is. :p

DRR. The engines are all very different, they have a family look, but are still all unique. I also like how it is more like a real railroad than any other Disney railroad. The forneys help too.

How so? What makes more like a "real railroad" than, say, the Walt Disney World Railroad?

Matt

Actually having to earn your way into the left seat.

Or is it the six weeks of fireman training on the DLR, instead of the six days for both fireman and engineer at WDW???

(wow... my inner monolauge learned to type :) )

The Fort Wilderness Railroad. 3 1/2 miles of track, and it made right AND left turns. :)

And from what I've read there was almost no training on the FWRR! ???

Disneyland Railroad I like the smaller locomotives and like colin said they are all different but have a family look the locomotives at disneyworld just seem too big for what they do and they did not spend there working life in America so ya for me its the Disneyland railroad :)
