I'm no monorail expert, but I've heard it's the same horn.

Like I said, I don't know for sure. Audio can be distorted.

I checked a nother video, and it sounded the same as this one.


I noticed they changed the uniform of the monorail pilots. What did the uniforms look like on the first monorail?

It sounds similar, but it is a bit louder and bit more higher pitch than the old one. This video has a better horn blowing....

Check out the new Disneyland Resort audio Podcast it's about the Mark VII it has an interview with Bob Gurr as well as Scot Drake the lead Imagineer behind the mark VII trains also there is a cool interview with Bill Rogers, the current voice of Disneyland!

Nice looking photo. I think it captures the new monorail very nicely. I see some comparison with the orginal monorail poster from 1959. I like how you can also get the new photo framed next to the orginal monorail photo from 1959.

both items are available June 8th. the double print is $195 and the single print is $35 framed. not a bad deal and the artisit will sign the single print.

I just got back from disneyland this past weekend. In person, the horn does sound the same as the mark V. It looked neet running, though it will get some getting use to. Still no riders though :cry: I wonder when they will let people start riding it. 8)
