Hello:

1) - date for the second production run of the live steam Lilly Belle?
2) - price?
3) - suggestions:

The sand dome of the last production live steam Lilly Belle was far too large. The over sized sand dome distorted the proportions of the live steam Lilly Belle locomotive model to almost cartoon proportions.

For the next Lilly Belle run, may I suggest using the correct prototype sized sand dome as used on the non Disney Accucraft 4-4-0 engines?

The Lilly Belle stack and headlamp sizes were perfect.

Is it possible to have Accucraft move the valve gear eccentrics from the rear axle to the correct front axle location?

One final suggestion is to reduce the diameter of the pilot truck wheels. This would provide a visual illusion that the drivers are of larger diameter than what they actually thereby better resembling the Lilly Belle driver size.

Thank you

Norman

Norman,

I spoke with Michael Campbell, and he says the units were produced two months ago, and are in transit. No changes are possible at this time. Also this model was based on the South Pacific Coast #3, not the CP173, because the volume was too low for it to happen if just based on the Lilly Belle. As such, the proportions of the domes and wheels, positioning of the valves, etc., are different. The alternative was to not make it at all.
