On one of the boards that covers the Olszewski Disneyland releases, there was mention that a
C.K. Holliday train will be released at Disneyland in May or June and that it is being designed by Lowell Smith.

I know this has been mentioned here before, but wanted to check if anyone can confirm this at this point. And if so, any information valuable would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Tom

Hi, Tom,

Yes, there is a plan for Lowell Smith to produce an N-scale train for sale at Disneyland. However, the date of release and price have not yet been announced. I will be sure to post it here as soon as the details are final.

Met Lowell Smith and his wife at the 2011 Unmeeting in WDW. Very nice guy. He had a C.K. with him. Very beautiful.
I believe they will be around $100.00.

Paul Graf from Atlas has confirmed that they will be manufacturing these engines (both the CK and the Lilly Bell) and offering a non-Disney N 4-4-0 in "appropriate road names" in the future. If this is anything like their 2-6-0 it will be a nicely detailed and fine running little engine. I wonder if they will offer a straight stack version as well that can be modeled as the Ripley?

Heres' the quote from Graf on the Atlas forum:

"Yes, there is a new 4-4-0 model coming. Right now, the only sample we have is of a licensed model, which we cannot release to the public as yet.

We will be running this in appropriate road names down the line - expect an announcement of these within the next couple of months."

Any word on a possible date these will be seen in the Parks? And are they open ended or limited? I see Ward is fetching 600-800 on ebay.
