Mine is serial number S07 which means "Service Model 7".

It's my understanding that in addition to the known quantity, Accucraft had about 7-10 "Service Models" built. They held these units and waited to see if they needed replacement parts or entire units for the regular serialized units that were sold. After a certain period of time, these service models were eventually sold off.

I was told that mine was the last Lilly Belle to be delivered. I had some power pickup issues and a mechanical problem with mine when I received it and asked Cliff at Accucraft if they could just send me a complete replacement. He said that they would but upon inspecting what I believe were the remaining 3 service units, they all had some sort of cosmetic damage and that I would be better off keeping the one that I had and sending it back to him to be reworked. After two trips back to Accucraft mine performed flawlessly and I was a happy camper. I'm not sure if they ever repaired those remaining units but I know that the guys at Carolwood stopped the sale of the service units when Cliff discovered the issues and I don't ever remember the item being added back to the site. That was in April of 2009.

Sorry if I'm mistaken. Have you mentioned a Holliday prototype? If so what do we need to do to get that guy going? Possible minimum work order deposit to build?

Deuce,

To my knowledge, and anyone knows more or different correct me, there is one and only one Accucraft CK Holliday. It was made for a special event and cost double what Lilly Belle was sold for, 5k is what i recollect. I have seen the model and it looks incredible, but way out of my price range to own.

There might be more interest in a G scale, 3' gauge Holliday than for the #1 scale Lilly Belle. It's a true park engine, and might even serve to generate interest in a line of 1:20.3 park miniatures for the garden. You think garden railroaders might like a Main Street station, with their own flowerbed Mickey?

I've got #74 electric. Bought it on eBay about a year ago. Last one I have seen available. Mint condition. Ran it a few times indoors. A bit of a slow runner but very pretty. Bought some Accucraft gondola cars for it but still not a perfect match. I have it displayed in my office along with my Carolwood membership certificate and "Barn" info. All my guests love hearing the Carolwood Pacific story. As we all know not many people know about it especially on the east cost. On the right wall is a Ward Kimball display with some of his original artwork.

I also have the FWRR electric but I am not sure how I am going to display it. I need more "stuff" for the wall on the right. I would love to get a hold of one of the original Carolwood Pacific plaques featuring a Roger Broggie negative. One of these hangs on the wall in the Carolwood Pacific Room at the Wilderness Lodge. I think only 25 of these were made by the Carolwood Historical Society in 1998.
