I stumbled across this auction for an LGB Lilly Belle car:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LGB-33803-Disne ... 4d031b2853

Break open your piggy bank if you intend on winning that one!

I remember seeing those cars on the shelf at The Train Shop in Santa Clara, CA for about $90 not too long ago.

It is disgusting. That car looks like crud. It is too stubby, too tall, has the wrong rear end and no drumhead. I hated it, why do you think I made my own? It was hard enough paying $120 at the time, but now $800 knowing what I know and how LGB and Disney Paris had these made. No thanks.

I will be making one more Bachmann conversion and putting it up when I get home. It will be the 3rd and final one I ever do. The cattle car and gondola are coming along nicely, I just need them on the line while I am here to measure accurately. So far through the collaberated work of myself and another board member, these are going to be a reality very soon.

$800 for LGB, pshhhh, poppycock!

no thanks, first its way overpriced and second I could make a better one just by repainting a bachmann car
