Sam,

WOW! I am really impressed with your work and all the detail story you have come up with.

I am afraid I am one of those who always thought Big Thunder Ranch in all of its recreations has been a waste of Disneyland space. Your proposal would be great use for that space.

Ray

The only part Im kind of concerned with is the Fantasmic storage, heck the could just put it on the other side of the R.R. and use a swing bridge like in WDW for connecting the World Showcase Lagoon.

I thought about that; a tunnel in the rockwork where there isn't any show space being used could hold the barges, and when show time comes, rock door pops open and barges roll out. (Think the "tinkerbell door" on top of the Matterhorn)

Of course, if Red Canyon Ridge were built, by that time, Fantasmic will hopefully be gone already... :D

What a great mock up of a cool idea. Stunning work as always Sam.
I'd gladly get rid of Fantasmic for this! :D

Both of you go sit in the corner. GO...NOW!!!! GET IN THE CORNER. Take your hands out of your pockets. Don't look at me, look at the corner.

I agree with them. Don't much care for the show, what it did to TSI, and what it does to the ambiance of New Orleans Square.

As much as I hate to say it, Fantasmic's days are actually very limited. I think it will actually be gone within the next 3 years in favor of the newer show at DCA. Aside from the dragon there have been no major changes to the show. It puts tremendous wear on the Mark Twain; talk to the engineer working the boiler. From what I have been told, both peter pan and cpt hook have been injured performing stunts. The amount of guests per show puts a choke hold on movement in low light conditions through that area.

but you can all still go stand in the corner
