I am interested in purchasing a set of Hartland Carolwood Pacific rolling stock. If anyone is interested in selling a set at a fair price to someone that would truly enjoy them please contact me. I have a Lilly Belle and caboose that I would love to run them with.

Thank you

Tom P

I might be able to help. What do you consider a "fair price?" Per the "wayback machine" (web.archive.org) of the Carolwood site, the original prices in 2002 were:

CPRR Boxcar--a favorite riding car for kids visiting Carolwood. $75

CPRR Cattle Car--a reminder of Walt's boyhood on the Marceline farm. $75

CPRR Flatcar--also used as a camera car by Roger Broggie. $40

CPRR Gondola--Walt's workhorse car--he had nine made up like the one displayed in Walt's Carolwoood Barn in Griffith Park. $50

I'm not sure exactly what a fair price would be. I think it would need to be a number that we would both be happy with. Do you have a set of 4 or any that you are willing to part with? And if you do what is the condition and would you be able to post some pictures?

If and when I can find some I do plan on running (lightly) and displaying them with my Lilly Belle and Carolwood Caboose.

PM me with details and lets work something out.

Thanks for answering my ad.

Tom P
