Looking for graphics for the CP Caboose #13 that was on the Lilly Belle train in Walt's back yard. I will be converting a caboose in a future project. Any help would be great. :)

I don't think that I have any photos of the caboose up close but I'll dig around. The only photos that I have would be from back when it was on display in the DRR Main Street Station with the Lilly Belle. I had to shoot through the glass case so the results I'm sure weren't good.

If you want a good starting point for your project, the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society's CPRR caboose was made from a Bachmann bobber caboose model like these:

Yep, that's the model I'm using. I nabbed the circus train caboose for $19 at trainworld. Looks like I only have to paint and change the side grab irons.............and add 4 marker lights. If anyone has good hi resolution images of the logos/lettering I'd surely appreciate it.

You can't use the graphics from your HO Carolwood set caboose?

Looks kinda small. Wondering if the resolution will be lost if I blow it up to G scale. I haven't done that sort of thing before. I usually start with a picture that is larger than needed at higher resolution then scale it down to preserve the clarity. I will give it a try. :)

Would this help at all? A little touch-up in an editor would be needed:

or this:

or this:

Railroad Roman would probably take care of the rest...

I took a bunch of pictures when Lilly Belle was in Sacramento in 2003 at the request of Micheal Broggie. I put some of the photos up on my old web site:
http://www.kagutech.com/Picture%20Pages/CPS%20Sacramento/intex.htm

Included are some pictures of the Caboose such as the one below. I also have some other views (and slightly higher resolution) that I didn't put up on the web:

I've tried to up load the graphic I am going to use but I'm on a company computer and can't get it to upload to photo bucket. Security settings I think. anyway send me your Email address in a PM and I'll mail it to you.

I will be using green times roman decals from Micro scale for the lettering and numbers, but I already did the herald
