At first just running them is fun, but then you start thinking about remote control, working headlamps, inside admission, good-all valves, bigger better engines..... Then the lightness in the wallet starts to happen. :) :)

Ain't that the truth. I too have the small scale steam bug. I'm thinking of picking up a Ruby kit here soon, so I can reverse engineer it easily and use it as a testing grounds for some new ideas.
