Yes, an ad for that book has been appearing in the rotation here on the board for about a week now.

I just happen to have a copy here in front of me. It has all sorts of ideas on how to create all kinds of effects. Thumbing through it, just a few are: Neon sign effects, Working with fiber optics, Simulated fire effects. There are chapters on wiring techniques, lighting effects, track effects, animation effects, sound effects, scenery effects, theatrical effects, and effects operations. Included are pretty detailed instructions, complete with pictures and wiring diagrams (where needed). Full of great projects, and it can help give you ideas for more.

Fun stuff! :)
