Dont Blame Me.... :) ok fine blame me, I don't care :) No really, this is great. The upgraded features make it easier to add pictures and so on. The only things missing are the fun rail related names: Chief Engineer, Firemen, Passenger, etc. But thats not really a concern, they were just fun.

Again a million thanks to Steve for putting all this together.

I'm planning on adding those back in, as soon as I figure out how. I know it can be done, I just haven't gotten there yet.

This new software has about a mega quad zillion controls, compared with about 15 on the old software! :O

The good news: I added the titles back in! :)

The bad news: Everyone starts back as Passenger. :( I haven't figured out how to get it to count the posts from the old board in the software. Maybe sooner or later I will run across that setting.

Sorry about that, but at least everyone starts off even again!

Well, FF, I see that now that you have posted one message on the new board, it went ahead and put you as Fireman, which is correct for your number of posts (150+). So maybe once someone who has posted before posts again, the title will be correct. ???

Just goes to show you that the Chief Engineer feels like he only has one foot in the cab at the moment! :D

Thanks for that. It feels good to go from Passenger to Fireman. :;):

I bet. I wonder how it feels to go from nothing to Chief Engineer?

Just kidding Steve! You definately deserve it!

I just know for a fact it took me a year before I had the opportunity to be Stationmaster on the LCRR....

The Next Oldest | Next Newest buttons are slightly useful - they take me to the next oldest or newest forum, however they take me to page 1 of that forum. This functionality could be improved.

Ideally, page 1 would contain posts, newest first. Another option would be to have Next Oldest | Newest take me to the exact page of the next newest or oldest post. The best situation is of course user-customizable settings.

I have never used ikonboard so maybe there are no options for this.

I thought that I wandered onto the wrong site at first. I figured it out and have to agree that it takes a bit of getting used to. But by the fact that I'm posting here shows you that it didn't take long to get the hang of it! Nice work Steve!!!

I bet the new layout was a bit of a shock for several people! But I think that for most everyone, the adjustment period should be relatively short. Glad you were able to figure it out, Steam Hog! :D
