Looks like I will be on next Thursday's tour. A friend of mine has family coming into town and they wanted to do the tour, so I have opted to join them for it. Wasn't that nice of me? In any case, if any of our board regulars will be part of it, let me know.

Groovy Man!!!! 8)
Take lots of pictures and post them where we all can take a look.
Have a great time.
You're such a martyr for going with them.

We were picked up by my very favorite engine, which meant unfortunately, I wouldn't be getting many photos of her, but we got our "postcard shots" taken:

Back at the yard, I saw what appeared to be some pilot wheels half-buried in a pile of rocks, and some trucks from one of the coaches:

Lilly and Roger were sitting cold in the roundhouse. It looks like they don't expect to be using Roger before the conclusion of the holidays, if the pilot deck is any indication:

Number plates for 3 of the 4 engines:

Walter was ours to explore, and I'll post those photos in the next entry.

Since we started with a detail shot of the Walter, I'll continue the theme, working from front to back:

Thanks for the posted photos, Hope you have some more. I'll be taking a few my self in January but those straight on side views of the graphics help us modlers out a lot. My WDW locomotives have been put on hold for a more important project but I'll be using your photos next year to print the decals.

Shane - thanks for posting! Those are some fantastic pictures.

The trains really look in great shape. Someone in the roundhouse has been really keeping them spotless. Even the backhead was pretty!

I am just guessin' here...but I bet those were Walter's pilot wheels in the rocks. Looking at the pictures you shot of the engine, the white walls are so wide...they must be new.

Lastly, I know the coaches are going through rehab...but it really wigs me out to see the mixed matches of engines and train sets. Roy does not look good with Roger's yellow consist!
