Thanks, Steve, for your gracious review on Miceage! I especially appreciate your mention of the guests and cast members behind the railroad. This is their story, and I was thrilled to be able to relay their experiences and fun!

If the books bring some fun and pleasure, then the effort was successful...... :D

I thought I'd chime in to say that I've also received both books and have read them back to back. I was blown away by the amount of detail. My first trip to FW was in 1984 and we went every other year after that. This was back when the tressels were still there and a lot of rail was still evident. My imagination would run wild wondering what it would have been like and whether the railroad might someday return.

These book answered all my questions and more. The inside stories are fascinating -- I can't believe these guys can remember so much from so long ago. And the quantity of pictures is superb too.

I also wanted to say that I know next to nothing about trains -- and for the most part the book was good at explaining in simple terms what the terminology means. I remember thinking throughout that it seems written really well and written at a level of detail that would make it appealing to anyone.

Hi Trent,

Thanks for your note and critique of the book. I really did try hard to level the book so railfans and Disney fans could both enjoy the story.

I was taken back too on the amount of detail these folks remembered. My hat is off to Vern Conner, Ron Fink, and Jimmy Graves, especially.

Glad you enjoyed the show!

David

I ordered the books this morning, and because it is Columbus day and I used code Explore305 I got an additional 14.92 % off.

Looking forward to their arrival.

David,

I am looking at the possibility purchasing your books, however postage to the UK isn't clear on 'Lulu'. Having entered all of my address, it still says postage is £4? Is this correct? I'm not sure how the system works and felt probably best to check.

Cheers,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I compared the Euro cost with the cost in the U.S.A. US Postal Service equates to about 2 pounds. Ground UPS equates to about 5 pounds.

So I would think your note about 4 pounds sounds about right......

Thanks!
David
