Oh well, now it's another Disney memory along with the Carousel of Progress, Voyage Through Inner Space, grey submarines, the motorboats in Fantasyland, . . . . . . .

At least the Carousel Theater of Progress is still open, just in another state.

Oh and it was Adventure Thru Inner Space, one of my favorite attractions when I was a kid. ;)

Oops, that is what happens when I post too late at night. :-) I was probably about 7 the first time I rode it and was afraid that I would have to get a shot in order to make the shrinking machine work.

I also forgot another favorite, America the Beautiful in Circle-Vision 360. Nothing surpassed the aerial scenes (filmed out of the bottom of a B-25 if I recall correctly) until I first saw Soarin' Over California. My mom used to say she always got dizzy during the scene on the fire truck speeding through downtown L.A. :-)

I probably saw America the Beautiful as a kid, but I don't remember it. The only time that I saw it that I can remember was when they re-screened it right before Circle Vision was closed forever to make way for the new Tomorrowland that opened in 1998.

That was memorable! There was one scene set on a ship. You could see the flag on the bow, and turn 180 degrees around to see the one on the stern.

Not sure if anyone else misses it, but I miss some elements of the old DCA, especially the old Paradise Pier. Went by the area of the CZ today, everything is gone.
