This was slated to replace the Mary Blair exhibit next month, but it looks like there could be a scheduling issue. From the Disneyland Railroad Facebook page:
Quote:
Okay, the Disneyland Railroad exhibit at The Disney Gallery has been pushed to late November - HOWEVER, it might get pushed again for a holiday display in the month of December.

I'm not certain that the "Disneyland Railroad" Facebook page is an authorized source of information for Disneyland.

Just saw this at StitchKingdom.com:

Disney Gallery to Celebrate Disney Trains in New Exhibit, November 12

The post also has an image of one of the art pieces.

Stitch Kingdom says the Gallery is "located at the base of Main Street." Is that the train station end, or the castle end?

the train end...it's in the old bank building next to Mr. Lincoln

and looking at the stuff in that link, I think this could get expensive...

There are a couple pieces that will definitely make it to my Christmas List! I like the Kimball attraction poster and the beer stein.

I really was hoping for a DRR Adlake lantern, however...And I wonder why some of the other engines besides the Kimball, Walter E. and C.K. weren't more prominently featured.

Wow, some really nice stuff in there. I just hope that it's made available to those of us that live far from Disneyland and can't be there in person to buy some of it.

I agree about the Engine 5 model, but since when was Hartland Locomotive Works *ever* known for scale realism? The second that name is on a product, that expectation automatically goes out the window in my opinion.

I also found it interesting that in the "All Aboard the WDWRR" painting/poster, the stations are listed at the bottom, just like the for the DRR, but Fantasyland is not mentioned even though that station is being built right now to replace the former Mickey's Toontown Fair station.
