Great news! The Carolwood Foundation has accepted an invitation by the SCRPA to present the Santa Fe & Disneyland Combine at this year's Railroad Days! Our current plan is to have it open to the public so that thousands of people can experience for themselves the car that Walt Disney proclaimed to be his favorite piece of the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad.

There are other details that we are working out, so please check this topic in the future for updates. (And, because I imagine someone will ask, we don't have any details about Disneyland's participation in this year's event other than it is being discussed.)

The fair is May 5 and 6 at the Fullerton Train Station, 120 E. Santa Fe Avenue, Fullerton, CA. We hope to see you there!

That's fantastic! I was thrilled to hear they were bringing the event back to Fullerton. It ain't a locomotive--as far as we know-- but this is pretty cool!

How cool would it be if the Ripley went again, and the two were coupled up?

Since it has been the pattern the last two events with the Holliday and Gurley, it be neat to have the latest refurbished locomotive on display, should the Marsh just happen to be ahead of schedule from it's rehab. Plus, the Marsh did pull the Retlaw train also! Ripley would be cool too.

No official word yet, but try to think for a moment. Of all the locomotives and rolling stock from the DLRR, what would be the best paired with the combine? Perhaps something that we've never seen coupled, but would fit so perfectly.

Can the combine be hooked up to the hand car?

A Matterhorn Bobsled?

A Star Speeder 3000?

A Doom Buggie?

U. R. Daring is going to be hooked up to the combine at the Fullerton event!!!! Thanks, Rob!!! :D

Man and I thought they were gonna be boring and try to hook it to Kimball.

Kimball and Retlaw 1 would be quite something, as that has NEVER happened before.

The official word has not been given, but if they decide to do what is being discussed, it's going to be very cool indeed.

I will share news once I'm told of the decision.
