Hello Everyone! Just doing a little test market for the SF&D RR fireman hat badges. They would be just like the one that Sam posted in the other forum, just like the Engineer ones and would also have the blue background like the Engineer ones, not the red. Anyone interested?

I would be interested.

Just to remind everyone, after Sam did the artwork for the Engineer badge, copying a single known and verified exampled that still exists, Sam did a similar one for the position of "Fireman." To date, no Fireman badges have yet turned up, and their existence is purely speculative. However, every SF&D train crew position had an identifying badge, so a "fireman" badge is certainly plausible. It would make a neat "what if?" piece.

Blue would be more prototypical to go with Engineer and Conductor badges, as if they are all from the same "family". Red was something crazy I did after seeing a police badge that was primarily red.

Definitely a "What if" project...

Firefighters would gobble 'em up if they were red! I don't think the train collectors care about the color. They'll buy anything that says Disney.
