 Post subject: White Pass Alco DL535's for sale

It looks like 3 of WPYR's 1960 vintage Alco DL535s are going on sale, presumably replaced with the rebuilt 90s class GEs. Asking price is a litte steep. It would be a nice buy supposing someone had $1,900,000 lying around somewhere...

Some other listings I noticed that were notable were parts for an 0-4-0 porter and an ex SP U25B slug amongst others.

L.G.B. made models of those diesel locomotives back in the E.P.L. days.

Those were great models. Of all the Alco models produced (and I might be biased here as a long time EMD fan) but the DL535s were my favorite Alcos of all time.
